Community Credit Union (CCU) was founded in 1955 by a group of visionary leaders who cared about local working people, families, and small businesses. Since then, we have been helping our diverse member base to meet their financial challenges and opportunities. We are a member-focused and member-centric credit union. We are a state-chartered credit union that is supervised and examined by the Massachusetts Division of Banks and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Deposits are insured by the NCUA and the Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC). CCU is overseen by a board of directors that is comprised of reputable, educated, and qualified community leaders of the highest integrity.
